We were delighted to be awarded the contract to dredge the Portsmouth Offshore Group’s Weevil Lake Marina site. This is a large dredging job involving the removal of some 10,000m3 of spoil funded and organised by POG themselves. The project required the removal of all the yachts, pontoons and other infastructure for our work. Only the piles remained, still providing a tricky navigation test for our crews.

We are excited to announce the addition of our new flat top pontoon barge “JML5019” to our pontoon fleet, boasting an impressive total deck capacity/deadweight of 1,700t. JML5019 is also wider than many other similar barges at 18.9m meaning it can accommodate a crawler crane up to 300t comfortably.

As many of us grapple with the weather spare a thought for the crews of our coastal towage and tugboat vessels as they make their way around a very stormy coastline assisting with cargos and vessels from smaller deck barges up to the unique heavy transport barge Terra Marique.
